Sesquicentennial Prime Ministers Book Club - Sir Robert Borden

Greg Donaghy will present the life and times of Sir Robert Borden, prime minister during the trying days of the “Great War.” Greg is Head of the Historical Section and Deputy Director, Policy Research Division, Global Affairs Canada and author of Grit: The Life and Politics of Paul Martin Sr. Grit was a finalist for the 2015 Shaughnessy Cohen Prize for Political Writing. Join your neighbours to bike along Main Street to Windsor Park in Old Ottawa South where we will meet with others from the Glebe, Old Ottawa South and Heron Park at 10:00 a.m. and meet some of the City’s finest traffic & safety experts (police, firefighters, paramedics, trainers, etc.) who will share “tips” on bicycle safety and know-how.
